Viettel lays the foundation for future technologies at MWC 2026
At MWC Barcelona 2026 under the theme “The IQ Era,” Viettel Group introduced an ecosystem of 24 products and services fully researched, developed, and mastered end-to-end by Vietnamese engineers. Among them, Viettel High Tech played a central role, with its 5G Open RAN ecosystem positioned at the heart of the booth, highlighting comprehensive mastery from hardware to next-generation radio access network software. In addition to 5G Open RAN, Viettel High Tech showcased key innovations including AI Camera, the Xense AR augmented reality platform, and eVTOL drone systems, contributing to a secure, intelligent, and sustainable digital ecosystem.
Viettel’s continuous presence at MWC over the past nine years underscores its R&D capabilities, real-world deployment experience, and technology exports to nearly 20 countries, while demonstrating its ambition to bring “Make in Vietnam” technologies deeper into the global value chain.
